Good point.

But you must agree that new traders sometimes look to hit a "Home Run" instead of being content to hit "Singles and Doubles". I know that I have fallen into that trap and it usually costs me money.

Also, I guess that I need to clarify further the intent of this thread as a starting point for those considering Day Trading as a possible career. And that the basic premise of Daytrading is that one is essentially out of the market at days end... This in itself may really limit the participation of many.
