BERT buyout

This is the best "nice" pizza-casual Italian restuarant in the area

It was founded by Crugnale, who is putting together the buyout
He started an ice cream shop when he was in his teens, went to something like 20-30 shops, and sold out for many $mm's

Used the proceeds from that to start the pizza chain

This stock has fallen for a long time from the 20's to its present 4-6 level of the last year or so

Results for the last year have been so-so

Book value is right on the buyout price at $8.10 or so

My gut is that they are going to "steal" this at 8 bucks
Present holders will be thrilled at a 33% gain
But it is my guess that this one will turn on a dime from here and the group doing the buyout will make a killing in a few years.

BKB Securities only does 1 out of every 100/200 deals presented to them; the guys there have a good track record; they are not financing this for a meger gain

If this were a different company I'll bet the price should be more like $9-10 but there may be no way to stop the buyout or get a better price.

Crugnale controls 25% of the shares and I'll bet he already has the board lined up to vote for his offer

Look for this to open in the area of 7.50-7.75 on Tuesday

There might be a play in it but I doubt it
