Re:What I have done in the past is place a stop loss limit on them at about 60% of my gain once I have a gain of 25% or more.

Once your stop loss is executed to to market or sector gyrations, do you find yourself buying back in once you perceive the bottom, or waiting for an upward sign of life? Do you wait 30 days or jump back into a particular company regardless of wash sales?
