Richard,

Now level II Quotes are a whole different animal... I use PC Quote with level II and Ill tell you that if someone took them away from me now I would feel naked. While level II quotes are not the holy grail of forcasting market movement or market maker intention they can really help out on trade timing... There are many times that I can see the market developing before my eyes on a stock... Last week it was NSCP.. Boy you really feel small when you things developing that fast. Also since I usually only use limit orders to trade with, Level II gives me a real quick idea if I have a chance of an execution happening. As a note Level II can be very helpful but it is also somewhat expensive.. The cost/benefit of having Level II is greater when one is making a number of trades per day. My PC Quote service costs $300.00 per month including exchange fees. The price alone might scare some people away.

Thanks,

Dave
