And as a result, I did not manage to adopt a truffle dog as I had planned to. No worries, a quick look on kijiji.ca tells me that there are plenty of unwanted 2 and 3 year old dogs up for adoption - wonder why that is :^(
This is not breed specific. The vast majority of these 2 and 3 year olds up for adoption are Covid puppies people snapped up for purely selfish reasons. It was a gold mine for unscrupulous breeders.
