One gets to stretch one's learning. Situations do arise that they are unaware of where help can be provided to them. Critical thinking still needs to exist though. I went to a walk-in clinic regarding a lump, diagnosis on the first visit was a cyst and directions to an ultrasonic. A second visit when the results got to the clinic provided an opportunity to have it removed during that visit, the ultrasonic results were clear. I was moved to another room and prepped by a nurse. The doctor entered, made the smallest of cuts, said it burst and something about it being close to the carotid artery and put one stitch in which the nurse covered with a band aid. Then the doctor said I am going to send you to a plastic surgeon. That did not sound right to me and I shook my head indicating no.
