GFY. People like you are the reason why no one wants to admit the problem with "diversity" hiring.

Back when Intel was trying to do the "diversity hiring" thingy in 2008, we were incentivized to hire candidates from the "diversity" pool. The referral bonus was higher for that vs. "non-diversity" candidates.

We had a very tough time trying to hire Black and Latino candidates, for we just couldn't find enough resumes that met our standards for skills and competency.

Instead, we met the "diversity" quotas by hiring Asian women.

When was the last time you ever interviewed candidates or participated in the hiring process? AFAIK, you're retired, so you have no clue what it's like anymore.
