It will likely be the Kelpie. He is a "Barb" (pure black). And for some reason black dogs are adopted much less than other colors. Kelpies also bark. Not excessively, if you know how to train them, but more than most dogs. So when you walk them outside they can scare people, even though if one knows about dogs, they will be able to tell that the bark is not a sign of aggression - it is just the dog "talking". On the plus side, they will scare the hell out of any would be intruders, even though Kelpies cannot be used as a guard dog (they are not aggressive enough or heavy enough). The key will be convincing my wife.
