Up until last year, I was using a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display which I bought in 2012, and only switched to a 16" MBP M1 because I was running out of storage space and RAM and also needed the latest version of MacOS :-)) So, yeah, Apple machines tend to go on and on and on...
