After owning and using Macs for years, you begin to take the intuitive nature of the system for granted until you get onto a Wintel based system. Now with 8.0, the Mac is a thing of beauty. Those who knock them, have not experienced them, plain and simple! The G-3's now take us to the next level of cutting-edge speed. It is truly sad that Apple, even with their clear technological advantage, has screwed themselves and ultimately all computer users who will be stuck with Windows. Truly sad.

On the Iomega front, I liquidated 15,000 shares, 60% of my position on Friday. I sold shares that I have held since '95. There are just so many clouds over this company that it will be difficult for it to get much higher than 12 over the next 6 months and certainly possible for it to drop further or just aimlessly trend between 8-10. I now feel comfortable with the amount of $ I have invested in it. Iomega, which I now view as speculative, represented too much of my portfolio. I have shifted more funds into Compaq. I feel much better and sleep sounder. Gut tells me a year from now we will be much higher, but if we are not......at least I won't have to work until I'm 90!
