Paul,

Nice to see you still around and kicking! :) Been a while since we chatted. Hope all is well with you.

I have a couple of entries for your contest. However, I want to complain a little first. I really want BNGO in the contest. It has been beaten down and due to several factors, I believe is poised for a turnaround now. However, it is only at $4 and change so I cannot post it as an entry. If it performs by 3/31 I will certainly be the first to post and let everyone know! If it doesn't or it tanks, I will deny ever mentioning it! <<gg>>

My two picks are based on TA only and I don't really have any fundamentals to back them up. My first is ASND. It is more attractive at 31.75, but the 33.25 it is at is not far off of the mark. It appears to me to have broken out of basing formation and is heading higher. The only thing that really concerns me is the takeover speculation that is going on. I have never had luck playing a takeover spec stock and fear that this one will tank as well. However, the TA looks good to me so it is a go for the contest. At 31.75 it is go for my portfolio. I suspect it will trade the other side of 40 by 3/31.

My other pick is ASMIF. I like this stock at 10.25, but it closed at 11.25. It has been in a trading range and I was looking to buy at the bottom of the range. I don't know if it will break out of the range by 3/31, but if it does, I would suspect it might go to 14 by 3/31. It appears there was good volume near the close on Friday, so maybe that is a good omen for me.

Anyway, there you have it.

-Scott

PS -- Can I enter SYCR as a short???? Good news after the close! ACK!
