Product Merges Two Modem Connections Ramp Networks last week introduced WebRamp PC, software for Windows 95 that combines the bandwidth of two modem connections. The software, which is priced at $49 and is also available for a free 30-day trial, requires two modems, two phone lines, and two ISP accounts.

The company said the WebRamp PC--which is based on the company's Connection Optimized Link Technology--is designed for home-based professionals who need faster Internet access.

WebRamp PC works with any two modems, according to the company. The product includes the WebRamp PC Monitor, a utility that displays information about modem status and activity. It enables users to monitor statistics such as aggregated bandwidth in use and peak performance levels.
