Hey, I just found out the company that produces yardsticks won't be making them any longer.

Well, they certainly cannot be making them any shorter...

And for those snotty Europeans who scoff of the idea of using a system of measuring units that was first determined by the intuitive size of a King's foot -

keep on using those units that were first defined by the very intuitive
one ten-millionth of the shortest distance from the North Pole to the equator passing through Paris, assuming an Earth flattening of 1/334!
Also called "meter"

Or in less polite circles, "metre"

I, for one, prefer the metric using the foot...
