I love Finnish series and movies. I will definitely check it out! The differences between the various countries of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Greenland, Iceland and Denmark are so fascinating to me. I love seeing the reflections of these differences in their entertainment. Norway was fascinating to me as it is so wealthy, because of its sovereign wealth fund, BUT they have some real issues between north and south and rural and urban- and some animosities there, AND they have many non native workers who do not participate in the wealth fund- which makes them second class citizens. Such an interesting dynamic. We have it here, too, but we're significantly meaner and less worried about the health of our society so we're (in the US) a lot less interesting to me.
