The cancellation of Patrick Brown has already begun:

Editor of Nature journal slams climate scientist Patrick Brown's 'highly irresponsible' research after he said publications reject studies that don't 'support certain narratives' (msn.com)

Basically what this editor claims is that Patrick Brown did what he did "all on his own" and was not coerced or encouraged in any way to conform to a pre-determined narrative.

And because Patrick Brown did what he did "all on his own," he is therefore guilty of "poor research practices."

In other words, the response is predictable and unsurprising. Denial and projection.

Because it's Brown's fault and Brown's fault alone that he didn't mention how 80% of wildfires are caused by humans.

Doesn't that contradict what you've been saying, Wharfie, that Brown didn't need to say that because it is completely and 100% irrelevant to the true nature of climate change's role in wildfires?
