First let me echo the general appreciation already expressed by myself and others for your most timely, coherent and clarifying posts. You've been a breath of very fresh air - mostly confirmatory to me as a long term buy and hold long with a perhaps overly concentrated portfolio heavily weighted with QCOM. The depth of understanding and expression you have shared has helped to allay the almost chronic anxiety I've felt watching the inefficiency of the market in relation to this company over the past two years.

Two questions: First, my understanding is that in a takeover, QCOM's IPRs would become free and available to all. A deal breaker to any hostile takeover I figured. Your comment re. this poison pill being side-stepped by a "good faith" approach scared me. Could you please explain this. Clearly management wants to take this company to its full potential on an independent basis and the prospect of them being stymied in this is quite worrisome.

Also what is the name of your management company and how can I find out more about it. If you don't wish to post such information generally, I'd appreciate an e-mail response.

Thanks again,

Greg (one g)
