This from AOL 2/15/98:

"EDO filed an form 13G with SEC on Friday, which must be filed when anyone purchases a 5% stake or more in a company. It must be filed within 10 days of purchase.

In the filing Loomis, Sales, & Co. L.P., (Boston MA) acquired 1.02m shares or 14.3% of the outstanding shares. They either purchased additional shares that brought them over 5%, or the whole thing represents a new purchase.

Does anyone know anything about Loomis, Sales & Co.?"
