Tuesday Sept 11 2001 - Where were you? I was staying at my moms place while my house was undergoing major renos. I remember coming upstairs into the kitchen, she said a plan hit the World Trade centre, I shrugged it off until I seen the hole and smoke. Wonder how in the hell? Then the second plane hit and it was obvious.

Our airports here in Calgary shut down and accepted flights for landing only, by the end of the day it was packed with planes from all over the world.

The feeling that day was so surreal. I will never forget it.
