Re: SJM - I also think they over paid; Peeled off 30% put the proceeds unto KTB as I build that position.

KTB mentioned earlier this year by Spekulatius and at a 10.94x PE and 5.4% div, seems like a better hold than SJM.

I also closed out my RTX which I had bought in late 2020 at prices between $56 - $61. Sold about 30% in 2022, and more in 2023. I just could not get on board w/ building missiles & machinery to kill people. They market themselves as a 'defense' company. Maybe my old age & think Peace is the best way to move forward, I can not invest in any companies anymore that build products that specialize in killing.

Similar reason I do not own tobacco companies.

Going to throw my money into companies that feed people, house people and provide medical care. I guess it's better late than never.

FWIW, my Dad was VP to the President at Lockheed before he retired (in the mid-90's) and I asked him in his later years what he thought about building all of these weapon systems. He had 2nd thoughts but his era was different. Ronald Regan and the cold War. Peace through strength.

I do think there are a lot of very good profitable companies that have brought a better standard of living for the world. Many of the Ag companies I own do and even in technology w/ advancements in solar.
