I have been interested in QCOM stock for a while, but not until this weekend did I finally get a chance to give them a closer look. For starters, I am quite impressed with their year over year revenue growth since 1993... from 170MM then to perhaps 4Bill in 1998... but more importantly, I did not realize that QCOM was so much more than just the maker of the Q phone... could someone please briefly list their various market niches? and where QCOM derives their revenue from. As a final thought, I see QCOM with a 3.4 Bill market cap as extremely attractive for the long term... 5-10 yrs... and I welcome any predictions as to where it might be by that time... $400-500 perhaps if CDMA really takes off?

Again, thanks for your thoughts....

and finally, as for the Korea situation, I see it as a mixed blessing which will allow me to get in at bargain prices... I dont know when I will buy, but I will try to get in as close to $40 as possible...

Thanks,

Jp
