What, Pax for Mac doesn't make THQ a big leaguer? <<grin>>

Stagger, I hope your YHOO puts make you enough to make up for what I'm hoping will be a THQI spanking. You should remember that Nitro is a pretty high margin item, and doesn't THQ own 25% of the design studio as well? If you are this confident, I'm sure you will double up the day before earnings are announced, right?

Anyway, the beat goes on for THQ--Sunday's paper has TRU advertising $30 in store credit on any N64 or PSX purchase and we've had at least one report that the videogame section was mobbed. Meanwhile, Target's circular featured the new ice blue Gameboy (and we know who dominates third party Gameboy) and CompUSA not only featured THQ's NWO but also had a big picture of Pax for Mac (which is fitting since it seems to be the only store with advance copies).

Add the reports that Nitro and NWO are top five in videogame rentals plus the fact that this co. made .20 on vapor last quarter, and that they purposefully pushed Nitro and MacPax back to this quarter, and I think we'll see low-fifties eps this quarter. And analysts raising their price targets and Q1 estimates. A 3/2 split would be icing.

Marc

PS--Bleeker, good to hear from you. Hope this thread heats up the next two weeks.
