Mohan, Worswick, All India's elections were held today, unfortunately not without some violence. Five people were killed in Behar resulting form landmines that had been set near a polling place. As of 7:00 PM Kuala Lumpur time, the polls suggest the BJP , while capturing the majority of the votes, did not capture enough to form a government. The likely scenario therefore is that the Congress and United Front will heal old wounds to form a new coalition. If that happens, the man most often mentioned as Prime Minister would be Dr. Singh, the former finance minister. This is viewed as a favorable situation for major reforms. Best, Stitch
