#magicalthinking California's Zero-Emissions Rule Triggers a Run on Diesel Rigs (msn.com) Go figure. Any truck purchased starting on January 1, 2024 or later has to be "zero-emission" if that truck wants to roll up to one of the state's ports. This of course is causing truckers to buy a crap ton of new diesel trucks just before the mandate kicks into effect, because NO ONE expects "zero-emission" trucks to be good and reliable come 2024.
