Not exactly, there's still plenty of work to do other then "emergency"
repairs. When I'm on 24 hour call, I do get paged to fix hung NFS filesystems, dead processes etc. which sometimes require a reboot. I can't say that UNIX boxes have no problems, but compared to the number of problems that the NT servers seem to have, it is proportionally a lot less.BTW, we're buying one of those big Sun servers this year at a cost of $3MM. Maybe, it's time for me to buy more Sun shares.
