WPC. The company spin off will be commercial properties. I expect the stock to drop as WPC holders dispose of their shares, not wanting to hold commercial properties. As a result of the spin off, and maybe as a reason for the spin off, WPC is reducing its dividend. All this is confusing to me, and not what I expected when I bought the stock. I've a very large position, and so I'm very largely disappointed. Discouraged. I am going to sell here, and reassess.
The stock's taking a good drubbing this morning. Maybe it's overdone, and will bounce back tomorrow. I don't believe it'll go anywhere after that, if it bounces, and will still stay low, so I should have some time to get back in, if I want. |
