Analysis at close on 2/13/98 AMAT $37.500--About to go over $40. Nice uptrend. Narrowed bollinger bands now widening on the break. 5 day stochastic crossed above its 12 day moving average--bullish sign AMZN $62.250--No play. Wait for a dip. 5 day stochastics going down from 80 on the uptrend. Bollinger bands are narrowing. Look for the hook. ASND $34.875--Neutral trend. Buy on break of $35. AVM $12.250--No play. Consolidating. Will probably bottom around $11. Could do a quick short with the 5 day stochastics less than 20. The trend is still up though so a short here is going against the rules. AVNT $15.125--Good quick short. 5 day stoch less than 40 on slight downtrend and narrow bollinger bands. BMY $98.500--Short a break below $97.50. Narrow bollinger bands on price and 5 day stochastics less than 50 and has crossed the 12 day moving average to the downside. Neutral trend not helping. CADE $2.688--No play here. 5 day stochastic peaking on uptrend. Take profits. CBIZ $16.875--On an uptrend with profit taking and consolidation. Everybody take profits and wait for bollinger bands to narrow and stocastics to bottom and hook. CEXP $9.625--Neutral trend. 5 day stochastics below the 12 day moving average. Not at the lower bollinge band on price. No play possible. CFON $4.563--No play. Narrow bands on neutral trend. Less than $5 so no new shorting. CIEN $55.938--Narrow bollinger bands. Slight possibility of more consolidation because the bands are not fully narrowed. CORR $12.000--Downtrend and narrow bollinge bands. Short play 12 to 10. CPQ $35.063--Strong uptrend. 5 day stochastics at 40. Near a bottom. Still consolidating a bit. Look for the stochastic hook. CTXS $68.813--5 Day stochastic less than 25. Neutral trend and narrow bands/colsolidation pattern. No play. Look for a breakout and stochastic hook. CYPB $2.750--Can't short under $5. Narrow bollinger bands on neutral trend.
