Hanning is right. 2 x blank canvasses = brilliant work of art. "Take the Money and Run". That's at least as good as many "installations" and works of "art" I've seen around the world.

I'm surprised if it hasn't been done before because it's an obvious art idea. It must have been done before because artists are supposed to be people with great imagination. So maybe he's guilty of trade-dress infringement, copyright breach, fraud, forgery, passing-off, plagiarism etc. But if he's the first to do it, he's got the copyright/patent.

It's like the Bansky shredded art which doubled in value after being "destroyed" immediately after the auction.

I bid $1 each.
