Hi Jeff. Strange that it's now over quarter of a century that Globalstar was launching flat out. Elon must wonder what's wrong with everyone else that they can't do easy stuff like make satellite phones, electric cars, earcells with nerve sensor input, economical rockets, sensible payment systems and units of value, small car tunnels, hyperloops, etc. As he demonstrates time after time, it's not very hard.
Paul Jacobs didn't say much for Globalstar. Apple should have bought it a decade ago and made an Apple shaped network around the world.
Starlink (Astralink) registered by me way back. In May 1995 = see NZ companies office website. But Globalstar wouldn't negotiate sensibly, being stuck in their high priced megabyte madness. So I gave up. Elon even pinched my name. He copy/, pasted Hyperloop from my description of it several years before he announced ," his" idea.
Isn't Starlink charging a stupid monthly arpu charge like Globalstar instead of Zenbu-style prepaid gigabyte purchase and take as long as you like to use it? Zenbu was no monthly charges or use it or lose it. Buy the equipment, set it up, buy gigabytes, enjoy.
When the system gets loaded, charge congestion prices so connectivity is always available, never overloaded. See extensive pricing descriptions from decades ago.
