Everyone will get COVID sooner or later. Any medication I use can move forward a patients death. Any patient weak enough to die of COVID would likely have died of something else shortly (example: 96% patients that are revived in a hospital after a cardiac asystole event will die within 6 months) When is enough enough? We could put 100% of patients into a bubble in the hospital and increase their life expectancy, but we dont. My freedom even as a physician does not conform to your level of fear. I do on to others as I would have them do to me. I trust my judgement more than 99.9% of people. Did that answer your question?
No individual physician will have the same assessment of risk benefit. Should we put 100 people with a 105 IQ into a room to decide on the right rules? My guess is that was the authors IQ. The problem with rule by the educated elite is they don't realize that one individual with an IQ of 150 with a proven track record is better than 1000 of them in a committee. If they ever do they will destroy that person
