It seems Canada has avoided recession, at least so far. Our economy contracted very slightly in Q2. We hear today that July and August together were basically a wash, but early indications are for growth in September, making for overall growth in the Canadian economy in Q3. Now we'll have to wait and see how Q4 and Q1 go. LC
