Viktor Sokolov, commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, was asked by a reporter in a video about the missile strike on the fleet’s headquarters in Sevastopol, which Ukraine said had killed him. “The Black Sea Fleet is carrying out the tasks set by the command confidently and successfully,” Sokolov said in the video posted by Zvezda News, the media outlet of the Russian military on Telegram. What kind of answer is that? No mention about the reports of his demise, no mention about the strikes on the HQ, no nothing.
Probably some spliced-together video clips of past interviews made to look like he's still alive.
In any case, IF he's still alive, then he is in no shape or condition to give any interviews.
Otherwise, like I said before, it'd be all to easy for him to show up with a newspaper and say, "I'm alive, ha ha!"
