The California Air Resources Board on Thursday approved a waiver at the request of Gov. Gavin Newsom to allow the early use of winter-blend gasoline.
He did the same thing last year:

Gov. Newsom has California switch early to winter-blend of fuel as gas prices cross $6 - CBS Sacramento (cbsnews.com)

Since then, Newsom has done nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch.

And now it's 2023, and history is repeating itself.

Like I said, his ultimate goal is to force people off of CO2-spewing vehicles.

If it takes high gas prices to accomplish that, so be it.
