I knew Canadian Occidental had looked at a partnership with Abacan
way back when. I was a shareholder in CXY at the time.
Incidentally, I wouldn't be surprised if Canadian Oxy wasn't one
of the companies looking at Arakis. They have experience with Middle
East governments and they have big cash flow from their Yemenie oil
fields. Just a guess.
