anyer-
Whom are you trying to con? "Iraq has yet to attack anyone". May I suggest Kuwait, Israel and, arguably Iran? It has repeatedly used chemical weapons on its own unarmed civilians- but I guess since that does not affect you personally it is of no consequence to you. In addition, Saddam is chomping at the bit to get back into the business of making weapons of mass destruction- in fact, he is almost certainly doing so today, albeit at a subdued level. With his proven track record of using such weapons and a barbarous mentality to compete with the likes of Pol Pot and Adolph Hitler he must be stopped- the sooner the better.

The comparison with the USSR is weak but not, perhaps, ridiculous. Basically the USSR did not threaten its neighbors with chemical or biological weapons. It did not use such weapons on its own civilians en mass and was not governed by a tempermental, sadistic wacko. Furthermore, our options, both "legally" and operationally were much less with regard to the Soviet Union. Ditto for China.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
