Rocky -

Though Nomai claims their disks cost nothing to make, they are charging 8 bucks apiece for their XHD disks, when purchased in lots of one thousand.

Do you still think they are in this because they believe the consumer should have a choice?

I should note that I have compared XHD disks to Zip disks, and there's no question that the XHD product is cheaper to make. Since I can buy Zip disks at retail for less than 8 bucks in lots of 6, I don't see why I would buy Nomai's stuff.

But I apologize to the thread now, because this discussion has nothing to do with SyQuest's chances to regain profitability. There's little chance that SyQuest will start to sell Zip disks, because they can't afford the machines to make them.
