I find it interesting that only 8 republicans voted to dethrown McCarthy.
I think this means the republicans have either grown spines or more likely they see the fascist wing of the party as increasingly detrimental to their odds of winning re-election... which means more to them than any veteran, any worker, any family in America.
Every congressperson in Washington has two sets of expensive polling machines that tell them what the people of their district are thinking. They see it coming. They didn't like Trump to begin with, now they see him falling.
And pretty much anything that comes out of the mouths of Boebert, or MTG hurts their chances.
Boebert having public sex and vaping was illuminating. I enjoyed it, seeing those big boobs getting fondled and the jacking off exhibition.
When the Fat Fraudster called McCain a loser, they could overlook it since it was a campaign. But calling veterans losers is harder to overlook, he supposedly was their ally. Calling for Milley's execution, or shoot protesters among other absurd and violent statements continues reveal he'd actually do those things if he gets another chance. In fact he'd probably do what Stalin did and execute any US Generals or Admirals who stood in his way of becoming our first Fuhrer.
And five trials, one already lost, is incrementally revealing even to the most self ignorant middle that Trump is a sociopath with no morals. Each fact puts doubts in the minds of people who voted for him. Each daily testimony is going to burn the Fat Fraudster. The trials are going to be daily HEADLINES of a serial sociopath, and Trump has only one defense, calling every prosecutor, every judge and every witness, even those he hired, a communist conspirator disgrace.
Meanwhile it was fun to see Trump turn from orange to red with anger... his fragile ego requires him to respond and this is just the start. The more pissed off he gets the more incredible his statements get...
Its hard to top calling for the execution of the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Only fascists would have wet dreams they could get in on that one. But no doubt over the next year Trump will call for something even more horrendous.

Its pretty interesting the Dems voted in a block to dethrown McCarthy. At first I didn't understand it.
I think though their tactic makes sense. The more the Republicans bicker among themselves and delay important government business and get nothing done the worse they look. The fascist wing isn't strong enough to elect one of their own but they have to "look tough" against the "RINO" wing. So the Dems have nothing to lose from this debecal.
Plus, although McCarthy made a deal with the dems to fund the government, he's been a spineless coward when it comes to standing up to the fascists so no loss there. Only a "RINO" has a chance now so nothing lost to the power of the Democrats, they can only benefit. |
