Think K is the better business. Haven't looked at it in detail but that's my rough idea.

K will sell the more profitable "snacks" and international cereal - here, in the UK, Kellogg's still reigns supreme with its Coco Pops, Frosties and Crunchy Nut. There is a clear difference between supermarket and Kellogg's cereal - people will generally pay a little more.

In the US, the cereal has apparently lost its touch and that's probably the idea behind the spin-off. Not to mention all of the chemicals that are supposedly in US cereals. There's possibly a legal risk. That's my take on it, anyway. It's possible that KLG works itself out with a more focussed strategy but, from what I've read, I think it could be tough.

Will need to find out the insider incentives etc. Probably not a bad time to re-read Joel Greenblatt which I shall do today.

Best,
