Exactly. There's supposed to be a penalty for failing to appear after a subpoena was issued.
The Judiciary Committee sent an initial subpoena for Chan to testify following the failed interview, the Daily Caller previously reported.
Elvis Chan and attorneys are still arguing about why the initial voluntary meeting failed. It's not voluntary anymore, yet they think they can still argue and delay.
The Judiciary Committee subpoenaed Chan on Sept. 21 to appear for an interview Thursday after he previously failed to attend a scheduled interview, the Daily Caller previously reported. Chan was nowhere to be found at the time the interview was scheduled, a source familiar told the Daily Caller.
