In a Constitutional Republic, they do nothing to the guy but take him back to town to the sheriff's office and they let the law handle the matter in court with any credible evidence if any... In a democracy, the majority rules, if the majority of the posse thinks this is the guy who stole the horse, then they hang him from the nearest tree... By that definition we are both. Many people in our history have been LYNCHED by mob rule with no chance to defend themselves and some have been able to defend themselves. Many were innocent and still imprisoned....mainly BLACK AMERICANS. Land of the free and home of the brave?? not for them...and we wonder why they kneel?
