Noted you have Golden Predator in the intro post...
Golden Predator is no longer... or, at least, it isn't as a stand alone... It was sold, and got subsumed into the new Sabre Gold Mines... but, the Yukon assets were just sold, again... on Sept 14. They moved out of Sabre Gold, who will now refocus efforts exclusively on the old Bonanza Gold project in Arizona, where they are still working at trying to re-start the old Copperstone mine, and have been "trying" (in theory, at least) ever since it was shut down in 2008... Those assets have now landed in Victoria Gold, VGCX.TO / VITFF... Victoria adds the Brewery Creek mine and "some" of Golden Predator's other under-explored portfolio of prospects, to their existing Yukon holdings...
That makes a whole lot more sense than it did pairing up with Copperstone... where the prior management and "financiers" who were promising they'd have that mine funded and quickly back in operation, and use the profits to re-establish Brewery Creek... instead have proven to be penny-ante pirates who are now demanding greenmail to go away... in the form of absconding with 10% of the company, plus demanding a couple million in cash paid to them... when it was supposed to be THEM providing the cash to put the mine back in working order ? The market is an amazing place... where every day reality and common sense appears it is often suspended... in favor of insider self dealing. New management at least appear to not be going along with the "same old" in the legacy of prior self serving piracy... but, too soon to tell... as they've bought back those crazy gold royalty deals before... only to have them show up again.
Victoria at least appears it is a going concern... actively producing gold... and profits... and not a "life style" company that exists to pay salaries to "executives" who never get anything done. That's a novel concept.
Meanwhile, it appears that the Yukon's and the Sheriff's falling out is irreversible. Their focus has shifted from the far north to Newfoundland, where William is now Chairman at C2C, following Janet Lee in that role, while he's also still doing that job at enCore... and they both seem to be spending more time on uranium than gold.
But, look at the "other properties" listed at C2C... and it seems there's still quite a lot of their legacy in exploration from the time they spent up north that's still following them around... |
