That is my experience with my PC at home. I don't use it much other
than getting on the net. I heard my kids curse, groam many times
(too many times) when that GPF menu pop-up and asked you to do
something, but you can't.

I have no problem with MSFT's simple solution. However I have problem
when those 4-letter words flying around when the kids cursing, but I
need to understand their pain.
