Hamas official says group is open to discussions over truce with Israel

Unfortunately there's no reason for the Netanyahu government to negotiate. After months of division in Israel his position is now strengthened by the war. Even if it wasn't Netanyahu's whole ideology is about being a right wing "strong man." Any concessions by him would look weak to his extremist supporters, even the most reasonable and just concessions.
