Actually Gaza hasn't been occupied for years. Not sure when that happened, but Israel got out of Gaza all together years ago. What changed more recently is Israel started letting Gazans take jobs in Israel, I think Hamas was threatened by that and wanted it to stop .... they want Gazans and Israelis to be against one another. So there won't be any Gazans going to work in Israel anymore now. Another beneficiary of the Hamas attack is RUSSIA. Already Putinists in Congress (like Hawley and Vance) are saying we have to cut off aid to Ukraine so we can provide it to Israel.
