He can't control inflation, no matter what he does says or passes.
If you think profligate spending has no effect on inflation, then you'd be a fool.

If you think profligate spending has no effect on inflation, then Dick Cheney was right. Deficits don't matter. Government should just continue increasing spending at a rate faster than that of tax revenues.

Brandon may not have a direct effect on inflation, but government policy matters. I'd argue it matters just as much, if not more, than whatever Jerry wants to do at the Fed.
