--The population of the name-brand schools are stirred, but unclear by the numbers...-- seems to me that 'the numbers' are unclear by intent, per the folk wisdom: figures don't lie but liars can figure. the 'data-driven' mantra has been used as a neo-folk 'creative destruction' tool to support the dehumanization and restructuring of u.s. society, according to some motive that is as confused as the distorted numbers flapped about. comparisons be damned... apparently. --...reckoning that a new / lower equilibrium is hit and at that point situation stabilises...-- hope so, and soon. --Am much more concerned when two / more tribes are jammed together and forced to politic 'together', especially in the absence of overarching and potentially compatible and might be unifying moral guidance.-- u.s. leadership seems to have given up on 'unifying' and 'moral'. rfk jr. has been promoting such, though. -g-
