to PR-AC MAN and others
Tks your responses.
Yes you are right about the SI not being the correct forum for discussion/dissent in regards this subject. However, there are many shareholders that have voiced and expressed their opinions regarding the buyback, and they question why the buyback is not creating a scenario of the stock price rising. MY PERSONAL opinion is what I have been telling you, it may not neccessarily agree with everyone else. FYI, I repeat, revenue and margins is the trick.
And Joe Medsker is quite correct. I am running the M&A side of the company, and this needs ALL THE AVAILABLE CASH in order to conclude deals. Your argument that the price of the BOUGHT BACK shares will rise and can be used to make better (Less shares) acquisitions, is not correct. The company can issue treasury shares for acquisitions, and these would be issued under 144 rules, with the related lock up periods.
AND I wish to make one other point. The telecommunications marketplace in the US, as far as mergers/acquisitions/buyouts is concerend, is currently showing a trade sale/purchase multiple of anything between 2 and 20 times revenue, and profits are not the key or most important factor. ITS REVENUES and DISTRIBUTION as well as MARKET SHARE that is drawing the greatest price. You should all take note of that, for it is to that market that we are building DCI.
Hope you all understand what I'm trying to explain.
