Hello @Home fans:

Does anyone have any thoughtful opinions on Digital Subscriber Line? Why wouldn't an up and coming technology like DSL hurt the cable modem business. If I am correct, DSL has many big players backing it up (Compaq, etc.) and it will be more accessible than cable (No special installations or ethernet cards). It will only require a special computer modem and will not tie up the phone line (like today's modems).

Will the two standards, Cable and DSL co-exist, or will one dominate the market?

Opinions are greatly appreciated.
