IOMEGA products are now everywhere, even if I haven't seen anything yet about Jaz2 or Buz. There were two mentions of CompUSA ads, well what I see is almost dominance. In our Sunday pullout there was one page of storage peripheral products with 18 features 2" x 3" of which 5 products were Iomega (Zip external, DittoMax, Jaz1 external, Zip notebook, and Sony StorStation (Ditto in disguise), the rest were Shark 250, SparQ, CD writers, internal HDs and misc. And on matching page, 12 storage products were featured, Jaz 3pack, Ditto 2pack, and Sony Zip 6 pack, plus various imation and Sony odd cartridges, etc. In computer stores, I am now seeing Zips included in laptops, (Powerbooks, etc) and sold as add ons. That's new. And big displays of Iomega products. In screwdriver shops (local PC assemblers/repair shops) Zip drives are now as common as floppy drives and are expected. The same with ads from such shops in the newpaper. They quote Zip and Jaz add-ons like graphics cards and hard drives, nothing unusual that has to be explained, rather, something to be expected in the public's shopping list. Last year, most people had to have Zips explained. Now they know beforehand what you are talking about.
