Jimily? How 'bout this cheery little scenario? Recently, someone posted information on one or two companies that changed their accounting procedure to one more conservative.
In fact, there was an analyst comment and downgrade on a particular stock going through the "change". The analyst said that it would be two full quarters for the company to recover and realize those revenues.
My point? If Skiba (RP is now just a rube), realizes that revenues deferred cannot be recognized last quarter (ending Dec. 31st), but next quarter (this quarter). And, If they want to dump their "digital dung" loser products this year and rid themselves of SYCR Israel, why not do it in a quarter that would have been poor anyway. A quarter that they couldn't show revenues anyway.
What did they have to lose, really (I know and expect the flames here)? I mean, the stock was nearing a buck and technically breaking down (our TA guys confirmed it).
I mean, what did they have to lose besides credibility? <ggggg>
IMO(a simp looking for answers), they buried a bad quarter because next quarter is when we will see the deferred revenues and lower G&A costs, etc. It makes sense to me, kinda.
OK, flame away.
