DRRISK, There is a way to turn off the personal messages from your profile options in SI. I don't get too many messages from others and I get a lot of Private Messages from Vanni. I intend to turn it off myself. May be you can consider this option too.(I wish there was a way to block private messages from a particular person(s) instead of completely turning it off). Prakash - protecting myself from others who try to waste my time.
